Smallness for Monday in Sydney

Hello Friends,

A slightly hazy, but nice morning in the old Sydney for this Monday. According to the latest data from the Sydney MHL buoy, we should be seeing the conditions similar to those prevailing yesterday. However, it looks distinctly smaller to me at Dee Why. Couldn’t see anyone in the water at 0700 – and that tells you something for a holiday Monday.

There should be a mal-able little something at the most south exposed spots, but the models and the forecast are pointing to a run of two or three days of this stuff. They’re still showing a small pulse late Wed-early Thr though. Not looking too dramatic, maybe waist to chest high plus at south spots. If I had to punt on a day, I’d go for Thursday morning at this stage.

Gotta jam! Have yourself a top old day!

Weather Situation

A broad high pressure ridge lies across the northern Tasman Sea, while another high lies to the west of New South Wales. Cold fronts moving through the southern Tasman are expected to bring a brief southerly change to the southern NSW coast late Monday, and a more vigorous change to the coast late Tuesday through Wednesday. By Friday the High is expected to become centered over the NSW Coast.
