"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

More grey skies, more littleness

Hello Friends,

Half a dozen bods in the water at Dee Why beach, waiting patiently under leaden skies for the very, very occasional knee high dribbler to make its way into shore. My hat’s off to the keeness of those stalwart types. I reckon it’s pretty impressive that they’re having a go when Huey’s only sending us 1.5 metres of 7sec period ENE wind swell. I’d say the early risers are getting the small advantage of an incoming tide too. It’ll hit the high at around 1100 and the low will arrive at 1745.

Outlook is for the energy levels to hold at about this setting through the morning and then it seems from the models as though we’ll have to make do with even stricter rations. It looks like Huey’s just not interested at the moment. It has to be said that the long range models are fairly bleak for the east coast of Oz. If you want a wave, head for western Vicco where it looks as though Mon-Tuesday should be very good indeed. (Anyone out that way want to drop us a report?)

Have yourself a great Friday and keep on smilin’ through.
