"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Very, very tiny

Hello Friends,

Nothing much happening at Dee Why this morning. And that’s not surprising given that the primary swell direction is pushing away from the coast. However, the swell is expected to start increasing from later on today. The big question is whether or not the direction will switch around in time to deliver anything for this afternoon.

Outlook for the next few days remains for a very substantial swell event – with heaps of southerly wind and grey and showery weather. The models are showing 4-5 metres from the SE on Thursday, and maybe even bigger on Friday (which looks like being the peak day). Unlike our last big swell event, the SE direction of this one should see more energy(!) slamming into the coast.

Gotta run now, but will try to come back later with an update on the outlook for you.

Have yourself a top old Tuesday one and all.
