"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Scruffy afternoon

Not the prettiest sight this afternoon at Dee Why. We had dull grey skies and a chilly 15kt SE’ly was roughing up about 2 metres of 8 sec period SSE swell. Even so, there were a few hardy types having a lash at it. Looked like catching anything was a challenge, but at least the bigger ones were pushing into the chest high plus range.

The Bureau says it’ll be east to SE 10-15 kts tomorrow with a couple metres of SE swell. There’s a 40% chance of rain and a very high tide at about 0710. The models are still calling for long period energy, so just maybe there will be enough on it to get into the protected corners… know any high tide SE swell loving spots that fit that description?

Catchya tomorrow morning!
