Nice looking morning at south spots

Hello Friends,

Light NW breezes and a clean two metre, 10 sec south swell lighting up various spots around Sydney this morning. Tide was low a little before 0700 and skies are clear. What a combo!

The generally offshore conditions are set to last through the morning before it swings SE and the skies cloud up later.

So, if you possibly can, hit it now.

Outlook for tomorrow is for the swell to get a bit smaller and for the wind to be southerly from early, swinging SE later. Friday could see lighter, but still onshore breezes and shorter period but potentially still surfable swell.

Have yourself a fine Wednesday!

Weather Situation

A slow-moving high pressure system south of the Bight extends a ridge into western New South Wales. Nearer the coast, a low pressure trough in the south will shift to the northeast through Wednesday and Thursday, bringing an increase in southerly winds. During Friday and Saturday the high is expected to move to the Tasman Sea while another trough approaches the state’s west, with northerly winds developing across the region.
