Despite 7 months of construction, the Strand “Improvements” have still not been completed and Dee Why beachfront is still a bit of a disaster area.
Granted, it is looking better finally, but what an incredible rort of taxpayers dollars it’s been to watch what could have been a simple project, easily done in a couple of months, stretched out over 7+ months and multi-million dollars of expenditure. I’m glad the people who are managing this project aren’t running our defense operations or we’d all have been dead long ago.
