Manly council website says the Manly lagoon is “one of the most polluted waterways on the East Coast” On days like today it pours that filth into the Queenscliff lineup and guys paddle out and surf right in the middle of it. Hardcore NE wind and rain blowing up 3ft or so of ugly windswell. In conditions like this at some point there can be rideable waves at Manly but you’ll need to time it. High tide 9:33am Low 4:15pm.
Forecast says clearing and wind edging around to the N/NW which could mean good things later if you are happy to risk an ear infection.
