Things looked pretty much as expected first thing this morning. That big low sitting off the W coast of NZ has settled in and is pushing a stack of swell our way. Interval sitting at 13-16 sec with 4.5-7m of SE swell. If the forecasts are correct that low will park itself where it is now and just keep pumping out swell for the next few days. At the moment it’s still a bit rough but a few hardy souls have been out there having a crack at it. One block caught a cracker of a wave from The Point all the way in past the Clubhouse, got out of the water and ran back to the rocks to jump off again, only to get cleaned up on the way out.
