Nup, Nuthin’ doin’

Hello Friends,

Barely a hint of swell at sea this morning off Sydney. And what there is, is little more than ripples. What we’ve got is 0.5 metres of 6 second period SSE wind swell. And that’s not enough to even leave a rime of white water around the rocks at the point. About as calm and flat as I’ve seen in a long time.

But despair not. You won’t be surfing today but the Eden buoy has gone up to two metres and if it all plays out as the swell forecast models have been saying for a few days now, tomorrow should see some potential energy at south swell spots (hat tip to the Goat) as a brief south pulse lights up the place.

Then it looks like back to small mid-week before a big southerly ramps up about Friday.

Have yourself a top old Monday!
