Go swimming

Hello Friends,

Only a metre of 7-second period wind swell lapping into the beaches of Sydney this morning. And not a punter to be seen in the water at Dee Why.The light northerly breeze this morning is set to swing NE and to ramp up into the 20-30 kt range. That being the case, there might possibly be a little something for the NE wind swell spots toward the end of the day.

Tide is high at 0600 and low at noon.It should be a sunny day too.

Although there’s a reasonable level of activity in the deep southern ocean, the models show the energy continuing to steer well away from the east coast swell window. The west coasts of Vic, Tas and NZ all look pretty good though. Some of the modelling points toward the early part of next week offering some hope of improvement – but only a bit.

Best of luck with your Thursday!
