Micro morning

Fogtown

Not overly hopeful
Hello Friends,

About the most interesting thing going on this morning was the spectacular fog enveloping the CBD. It’s clear and lightly offshore away from the city, but as expected, we don’t really have much of anything in the way of waves this morning. There’s a little less than a metre of SE swell at about 9 seconds apart, but it was too small to have attracted any takers at Dee Why before 0800. There is no real prospect of an improvement today, nor indeed the next few days. So, a good day to get back to work or school, free of that nagging sensation that you might be missing out.

The outlook this morning is for no real change until late in the weekend when an ECL is set to form up and sling some energy (and wind) at us.

Good week for me to get to work on editing a little clip of 1977 surf footage for the Surfrider Foundation fundraiser at Deck Bar in Dee Why next Thursday evening the 20th of June. I’m planning to include not only PC at Dee Why, but some Terry Fitz at Northy — and a bit of MP too. It’s only 20 bucks in and you get a couple drinks and finger food for your ticket! Book here!
