Surf was pretty good but having the world #1 show up lifted things to a new level. Where I was racing sections or trying to pull in he was banging off repeat top-to-bottom combos or airs. Puts in perspective how good Mick Fanning really is when you see what he can do with the same canvas. Great morning of surf with 3ft of south swell getting into Manly and plenty more elsewhere. Clean, fast and good enough for a champ.
