Up the beach

Hello Friends,

A summery day coming up for Sydney. Wind was light as the day got started and we still have a trickle of waist to chest high mainly east wind swell coming in at about 8 seconds apart. The wind is set to gradually pick up to light sea breeze strength from the NE later. Should be a few little fun ones around if you’ve got the time. Tide may be an issue because it isn’t high until 0930.

From the shape of the forecasts this morning, we should have ok little waves over the next few days. Nothing too big or powerful you understand, but kinda soft and summery mainly NE wind waves nonetheless. The pattern is for the wind to get more intense earlier in the day over the next 72 hours or so. With luck we should have something or other to mess around with during the mornings for the next week at least.

Get in if you can and have yourself a top Wednesday!

Forecast issued at 4:10 am EDT on Wednesday 20 November 2013.
Weather Situation
A broad low pressure trough has recently appeared over the far southwestern New South Wales while a weak high pressure ridge extending from the southern Tasman Sea affects the remainder of the state with generally light onshore airstream.
