Warm and little waves early

Little waves

Beachy Friday

Hello Friends,

Last Friday of 2013 and it seems there are a few small waves to be had. Before 0900 it was nearly 30 at RealSurf HQ – even though the high is only supposed to be 26.

I’d be getting on it ASAP because the Bureau says the swell’s gonna drop by midday and that the wind should be onshore soon. So kudos to those who got down to the beach early. They got the waist plus little sets coming into the beach and the knee to waist-ish sets at the point.

Tide is low at 0930 and then comes in less than a metre to a high at 1515.

Outlook is for a NEr by this afternoon.

Looks as though we’re in for some strong southerly action on Sunday. Between now and then there should be little SE to east wind swell of some sort or other and NE wind. I’m hoping that by Monday late morning or so, the wind will be light and that we’ll have some residual south to SE wind swell to play with.

Have yourself a fun Friday!

This trough moves over coastal NSW on Sunday followed by vigorous southerly wind as a high pressure ridge extends over NSW into the new week.
