The Goat’s New Year’s Eve Forecast

Surf forecast issued Tuesday 31 December 2013, last for the year: Seven day outlook for Sydney, first of the year!:  Happy New Year!

Been having a relaxing break, including no forecasts, but got surprised by the swell uptick from when I was playing with Josh and Eliza in the rockpool, to when I brought my board down and decided not to go out!… Also decided to do a quick forecast.  …Showed not just the forecast size in those modelly things ( not to be compared with TG’s Guts) but the period is important too.  Anyhoo enough of the past… now for the future

Surf will be smaller by tomorrow morning but still waves from the South…

Wednesday New Year’s Day:   1-2 metre range dead South – smaller than midday today

Thursday: NE windswell in the lower end 1-2 metre range

Friday: coming up from the South (you paying attention?) upper end 1-2 metre range

Saturday: going down 1-2 metre range South East, chopped around from strong S wind – lovely

Sunday: coming up (you keeping up with this?!) from the South

Monday, Tuesday: easing back in the 1-2 metre range dead South.

Have a good one tonight. Stay safe and enjoy.  Good luck in 2014!
