Hello Friends,

Not the best looking conditions early. Swell has slipped down another cog over yesterday. It’s coming mainly from the SE at about a metre with an average period of 11-12s. Early on the surface was pretty choppy looking even though the north wind was pretty light, however, as of 0700 it seemed to be improving a tad. Tide was high at 0640 and will be back to low at 1320, so it seemed kinda full at Dee Why beach. But, that said, there were some fun looking peaks coming through for the early risers. The bigger ones were into the chest high range.

Given the wind forecast, I’d be making a move earlier, rather than later – tide not withstanding.

Outlook for the rest of the week is kind of up and down really. With any luck, though, we should have something or other for the early sessions.

I know it’s back to work for lots of folk today, so hope it all goes well for you as the easing in to routine process unfolds!
