Late afternoon update

Hello Friends,

Rained all day and was raining when I stopped by Dee Why and grabbed a couple of snaps about 420 this afternoon. Wind was southerly at 15-20 kts, so conditions were pretty rugged. Swell was ESE at around 8 seconds and out at the buoy it was close to 3 metres. Biggest wave face I saw would’ve been around the head high mark in the beachy and chest-ish at the point. Water looked pretty suss it has to be said, but there were definitely a few smackable sections out in front of the SLSC. The point was smaller and less consistent, but I did see one person work a wave from out there to the beach. I’d come by Curly just before, and it was victory at sea with no one in the water.

Tomorrow’s wind call seems a bit better than this morning’s forecast and there should still be some swell of some sort about too. So, who knows… maybe… and Monday is predicted to deliver a combo of small wind swells from the south and east along with light westerlies in the morning…. hmmmm….

Have a great Saturday evening!
