"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Clean early and nice line too but smaller by quite a bit

Hello Friends,

Swell’s dropped a fair amount since yesterday afternoon, but by exactly how much I can’t say precisely because the MHL Sydney buoy isn’t reporting in. Looking at it, I’d say it’s probably around the 2 metre mark out at sea from the SE at 8-9 seconds. I grabbed this morning’s snaps just as a little shower was coming through Dee Why, but you can see that surface conditions were smooth at 0915 and wave faces were in the waist to chest plus range.

Tide was high at 0720 and will be low at 1320. We’re headed to a high around 21 with partly cloudy skies and the odd sprinkle.

Wind was still out of the westerly quarters and light when I first checked, but the Bureau says it’ll drift around to the SE. Happily it’s not expected to blow too hard though.

Swell’s predicted to continue its steady fade toward near flatness by Tuesday. Tomorrow may still have the odd marginal little SE bump for the morning sesh though.

Mid-week looks good for work or school, but if the models are right, a new SE pulse could be on tap from Friday through the weekend. Unfortunately the wind call is for SE’ly.

Processed a heap of pics from the best day I’ve seen at Golf Course in Ulladulla and will have the galleries up later this morning. Then it’s on to the Crescent Head backlog…

Have yourself a fine old Sunday one and all!
