"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Faded away to just about nothin’

Hello Friends,
As of 0830 we were seeing knee to waist high (with the odd plus at magnet spots) thanks to about a metre of 11-second SE swell. Skies are sunny and wind’s coming from the WNW at 5-10 kts.

At Dee Why you’ll be doing well to pick up knee to waist high bumps along the beach north from the club. The point has been switched off for the time being.

This morning’s run of the swell models is pretty much lined up with yesterday’s, which is to say that we’re looking at small to flat until Wednesday when a south change is expected to push the energy levels up. At this stage the wind outlook is not great for Wednesday, but MetEye is showing the onshore trend weakening to light around Thursday afternoon.

A quick plug if I may for Surfrider Foundation’s major fundraiser on Friday the 19th at the Diggers. If you haven’t seen it, check out the story in our news section.
