Morning update
Looks as though the cleanest option was Fairy Bower. From there north to Dee Why (and beyond) the surface conditions were very choppy and messy. Freshy and Curly were useless and you needed to be very keen to bother with Dee Why point.
Will keep an eye on it through the day and let you know if anything improves.
