Hello Friends,
It seems to be a tiny bit bigger than yesterday at Dee Why. Conditions were lumpy, inconsistent and around the knee high mark. Tide was high at 0700, so that wasn’t helping either. But the wind was light from the NW. The MHL buoy was showing 1.7 metres of 12-sec SSE energy, so as the tide drops you’d have to think there might be a few waist to chest bumps at magnet spots.
Wind is expected to be NE 15-20 kts later but some of the modelling is predicting that it won’t get going in a big way until after lunch. The energy trend looks to be gradually, but steadily, downward.
Should be mostly clear by this afternoon and around 25 along the coast. Quite summery actually. Enjoy your Friday and keep on smilin’!
