Surf forecast issued Thursday 25 February 2016: Seven day outlook for Sydney:
We’ve had warm air, warm water, there’s been waves of varying quality, and that will all continue through the weekend and next week..
Friday: around 1-2, 2 metres or so East North East/East South East
Saturday: a bit bigger say 2-3 metres basically from the East… ex TC surf from way out with a little punch at times and making the rips stronger – BoM has a warning for large surf
Sunday: easing a little but still mostly in the upper end of 1-2 metre range East, and the sets may have a bit of oomph, and ditto with the rips
Monday: mostly upper end 1-2 metres East
Tuesday: ditto as it swings South East with occasional punch
Wednesday: ditto, easing slightly
Thursday: same same East
Friday: 1-2 metres East North East.
Water temp is around 24, 26… dropped today to 24 after the Noreaster… warm all along the coast so probably will warm up again after the Southerly comes through..
