Strong wind, weak swell

Hello Friends,

20-25kts of WNW wind whipping off the beaches and out to sea where it’s sending white horses to the horizon.
As the pictures show there’s essentially no surf at Dee Why or Longy. And from the forecast, it’s set to stay that way until dark. The Bureau says there could be a little south pulse tomorrow, but the swell models aren’t seeing it – but this weekend is a different deal altogether. The consensus seems to be that overnight Friday a significant south pulse (3+ m @ 10-11 sec) will begin to fill in. Wind call is favourable too, so it could be quite the weekend for waves.
Have a great Wednesday everyone!
