Tiny at Dee Why

Hello Friends,

A 10-13 kt NNE breeze was already doing its thing as of 0730. It’s due to pick up into the 20-30 kt range as the day goes along. Swell at sea was 1.7 metres from the NE at 6-8 seconds and the tide was coming in to a 1.6 m high at 1100. It’ll be back to low at 1720. Weather should be mostly sunny as we head to a summery high of 31C.
As the pictures show, waves at Dee Why were very small, but given the conditions, there should be surfable knee to waist and things to play on at more optimally aligned exposures. Water has crept back up to 18C too.
Take care, the virus may be at low levels in NSW, but it’s still around, and apart from the 4045 people who’ve been infected, every one of us is just as vulnerable to the virus as we were when it first turned up. Take your mask for when you’re inside or when you can’t count on maintaining safe distance.

0730 no takers for a little wind bump at the point

Up the beach, this one didn’t break until it hit the sand
