Yesterday’s swell energy is still with us this morning and the crew is on it at Dee Why. It looked reasonably consistent and mostly in the waist high range, but with the occasional head high set to keep things interesting. Wind was westerly at 7-8 kts, and it’s set to stay that way too. Could be surf all day from the look of it. And there should be lots of options all over the place too thanks to the E-ENE swell. It was a shade under 1.5 metres at 12 seconds when I checked it at 0740. So, there should be surf options for pretty much every level of ability.
Tide is coming off the 0715 low as this is being written and is now headed to a 1.47 m high at 1355. Today should see a high of 25C and the ocean is 18C.
