"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Pass on it

Hello Friends,
So many folk will be dealing with the flooding and associated damage today. As the picture shows, there’s no reason to head for the beach. Beachwatch has the Pollution Likely warnings up for all of our beaches and with hundreds of millimeters of rain still to come over the next couple days.
As the day gets started, the wind is out of the NNE at 13-19 kts and out at sea the swell is 2.6 metres at about 10 seconds from the east.
Wind will accelerate and by tomorrow should be gale force. Swell is expected to come up with it, but obviously between the onshores and polluted water, it’s all kind of beside the point where surfing’s concerned.
The swell models continue to show good prospects for Wednesday morning as the departing rain leaves offshores in its wake. The problem is that the water is highly likely to be polluted.
Stay safe everyone!

A strong high pressure system over the southern Tasman Sea is expected to remain almost stationary for the next few days, directing an east to northeasterly flow across New South Wales coastal waters.
