"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Barely there

Hello Friends,

Mildish morning with light winds before 0900. Not much of anything happening on the surf front though. Plenty of optimists hanging out at Curly, waiting for a knee to thigh high set to dribble in. They’re few and far between though.

The Goat will be along later to share his wisdom about our surf prospects, so I’ll confine myself to predicting that we won’t see any real improvement today or for the next few days. Beyond that, I’m hoping the wise one will see something for us in the next week…

Go well, take the mask and get the jab if you possibly can.

Weather Situation

A high pressure system over the Tasman Sea extends a ridge to the northern coast, while a deep low moves through the Bight. A series of troughs moving over the region during the next few days, maintaining fresh to strong and generally northwesterly winds over all coastal waters. By Friday, winds will begin to turn to the west, ahead a strong cold front associated with the low. The front should move through all coastal waters on Saturday, with vigorous southwesterly winds developing in its wake.
