"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Heaps of waves and heaps of folk too

Hello Friends,

Another stunning day with sunny skies a light WNW for the early session and no end of swell. It was looking very consistent when I grabbed the pictures, so, although it was also very crowded with exercisers from our bubble, the wait for a shot at a wave might not have been too bad. Out at sea the swell was 2.7 metres from the SSE at 11 seconds apart. As you can see from the snaps, that meant chest to head plus. First tide of the day is a 1.47 m high at 0820. Weather should stay sunny as we head to a high of 22C. Water’s still on 18C.

Wind should stay SW through the morning and then the Bureau tells us to expect it to swing onshore during the afternoon. Swell may dial back a tiny bit, but tomorrow looks like delivering another pulse into the 3 metre 11-12 sec range from the south with light offshores for the dawn patrol and mellow wind until late morning.

Not a bad start to Spring!

Stay safe folks and tell all your friends to get their jabs too.
