"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Hello Friends,

Light north wind texturing the surface at Dee Why as of 0700. As expected, the wave energy has faded to very small to near flat. Out at sea it’s a metre at 8 seconds from 124° (ESE), so given the direction, there may be a few magnets producing the odd knee-plus set. Tide was high at 0620 and will be back to low at 1235. Weather should continue cloudy with the occasional shower as we head to a high of 25C.

Not much to get excited about in the swell forecast models this morning. It looks like there might be a little south pulse on Sunday, but we’re talking waist to chest at magnets – maybe. So spring continues on its meandering way.

Go well and stay safe!

Weather Situation

A high pressure system south of New Zealand extends a weakening ridge along the southern New South Wales coast. A coastal trough will drift south along the north coast today, with an embedded low pressure system likely to develop offshore of the Mid North Coast this afternoon. This low will then more further offshore tomorrow. A further trough and southerly change starts moving up the south coast later Friday.
