Sunday funday morning

Helllo Friends,

Well, how ’bout that? Yesterday the prediction was smaller today, but no. Thanks to a combo 1.6 m, 12-sec SSE and some 10+ sec ENE energy, Dee Why was producing chest to head and a bit high wave faces for a substantial Sunday morning crew. Wind was 5-7 kts from the west as of 0830 and skies were more sunny than not. Low tide is at 0930 and then is back to a moderate 1.3 m high at 1545. There’s aa 40% chance of a shower as we head to a high of 23. Apart from possible pollution near lagoon entrances, the water’s looking good according to Beachwatch, and temp is on 23C.

Anzac Day morning looks like being pretty similar to today, if not a touch bigger. And beyond that, it currently looks as though we should have morning session waves for the rest of the work week. So woo-hoo for that!

Have a top old Sunday and take care and mask inside public spaces*.

*Eight more NSW families have lost loved ones in the last 24 hours, bringing the death toll thus far to 2692.
11,107 of us tested positive yesterday.
And Long COVID is really a thing no one wants.
It’s not over.
