"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Surfable for sure

Hello Friends,

Another sunny start to the day for us on Wednesday. And we have waves. Sets along the beach at Dee Why were into the shoulder high range while over at the point they were much less frequent and more like waist to chest. As of 0700 the wind was out of the WNW at 9-12 kts, so surface conditions were looking pretty tidy. Swell at sea is mainly from the SE with the MHL buoy at 1.7 m from 136° at 13 seconds. Tide was coming in from the 0600 low and will be back to the 1.5m high at 1220.

Wind and weather promise to be good all day and swell should continue at about the current intensity or even improve a touch.

The good conditions should hang around tomorrow and into Friday morning if the expected easterly pulse arrives to take the hand-off from the fading south energy. And it looks from the more optimistic models as though we could have fun size conditions into the front half of next week. Sweet!

Go well everybody and stay safe.
