Waves on tap in the right spots

Hello Friends,

Still a few waist to occasionally shoulder high waves to be had around the place this morning. Swell was 1.3 metres at 9 seconds apart from the ENE and wind was out of the north at 8-12 kts as of 0630. Tide was low at 0620 and will be back to high at 1305. Weather should be partly cloudy with a high of 23 and the wind will pick up from the N-NW and could be 20-25 kts by late afternoon.

Outlook is for the swell to fade gradually across the day and by tomorrow it looks like being close to flat. The tiny stuff looks like lasting at least a couple of days before coming up slowly midweek (but quality looks pretty ordinary thanks to rain and wind). There might be okay conditions on Thursday as the swell comes up into the 2 metre range from the ENE. The wind and weather call for Thursday isn’t too exciting, but ya never know, we could get lucky…

Go well with your Saturday everyone!

Weather Situation

Fresh to strong west to northwesterly winds are expected to continue through the weekend as cold fronts sweep through in association with a complex low pressure system, with one centre over the Bight and another centre near Tasmania. Winds are forecast to ease during Monday as the low weakens and moves south while a high pressure system moves over the state. Then the high will contract to the Tasman Sea as the next low pressure system moves into the western inland on Tuesday.
