The Goat’s Surf Forecast

The Goat’s Surf Forecast

Surf forecast issued Thursday 3 November 2022: Seven day outlook for Sydney

TG commented out of the blue, to himself I think:

“Ya know.. It would be nice for a change to get some steady weather, instead of steadily changeable weather.”

TG can be so deep sometimes… as deep as a fishpond. It’s almost like he knows what’s coming.. though I’m not sure it’s exactly what we had in mind…

The Bureau’s wind forecast is fairly steady for several days coming up, from Saturday onwards.. Light, East, North East, Light..  Looks like it’ll probably be best to pick your timing as to when you might want to get in the water each day.

The surf today for instance looked nice earlier, then ordinary, then ok again, and then ordinary again, with changing wind conditions.

The surf outlook at this stage is looking fairly consistent too.. small to medium.

Friday: around 1 – 1+ metres at palces that like swell from due South

Saturday: ditto

Sunday: similar

Monday: down slightly

Tuesday: about 1 – 1+ metres, but from the East so could be getting in to more places

Wednesday: ditto

Thursday: and ditto again.

Speaking of the Bureau and its forecasts.. TG gets the BoM calendar each year for the pretty pitchers on it of Australian weather in all its glory. This month, November, the pic is of Ice on vegetation. Seems about right so far.
