SSE Saturday in Sydney

Hello Friends,
Looking like a thoroughly disreputable morning for Sydney surfers. There’s no shortage of swell, but unfortunately there’s no shortage of SSE wind either, so the ocean is looking like Victory at Sea. A good day for other things.
Your correspondent is well inland at the moment where skies are sunny and temps summery.

From the look of the forecasts, the wind will continue doing its thing tomorrow and the swell energy will fade too. Might be some little fun ones left for the early on Monday. Thereafter the swell models are saying basically to expect weak, small and onshore conditions for the remainder of the week.

I’ll try to organise the odd postcard from my travels in future posts, so until tomorrow, go well everyone!

Weather Situation

A high to the south of Tasmania is gradually moving eastwards, directing a cool, fresh to strong south to southeasterly airstream for much of the New South Wales coast. A low pressure system and associated trough in the Tasman Sea is also helping to direct showers to the coastal fringe north of Sydney with the chance of isolated thunderstorms. The high pressure ridge will build on the coast, gradually easing winds from the south during the weekend before becoming light to moderate in strength on Monday and Tuesday.
