"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Saturday surf happening

Hello Friends,

Perfect surf conditions this morning in Sydney. The wind was westerly at 11-15 kts as of 0700 and swell was 2 metres from the ESE at 9 seconds. Waves were in the shoulder to head plus zone at the better exposures.  So, pretty much everywhere should have a wave – and the good news is that the energy, nice weather and friendly wind direction should stick around for the whole day. The tides are playing nice too, with the first tide of the day a moderate 1.4m high at 0840. It’ll be back to low at 1420.

Outlook is for the swell to ramp up into the seriously big range (4-5 metres) by tomorrow afternoon, plus the wind will be offshore again. And the fun keeps happening with 3-4 metres of south swell and SW wind again on Monday. Obviously conditions for the experienced riders only.

What an autumn we’re having!
