Crowds were plentiful of course, but not totally hideous. Surface conditions were pretty choppy and lumpy, but there were definitely a few moments of funness to be found in amongst it.

Established in 1996, RealSurf is Australia’s oldest surf report website. In June 2002 the RealSurf Surfers’ Forum launched. It is now the longest running online community for Australian surfers.
