We’re looking at more summer smallness this morning. Dee Why has wave faces in the knee to waist high range. Wind was light and out of the NW as of 0800. The Bureau says it will swing to the N-NE later and increase to 20-25 kts in the afternoon. Should that happen, I’d expect that there might be a slight improvement to size toward dark at semi-exposed north corners (your usual NE windswell suspects).
Outlook for the coming week is, shall we say, amenable to fulfilling your social obligations. Indeed, the overall outlook over the next few days for the entire east coast is not pretty. If you want a wave, I’d be heading out to SW WA where it looks as though they should have a steady supply of SW swell – and a fair amount of onshore wind.
