Heaps of people in the water at Dee Why this morning. Haven’t gone out for more of a look around just yet, but I’d bet that’ll be the trend most places.

The big weather news this morning is of course TC Hamish which is now one of the strongest Australian storms apparently. Here’s a page of the BoM stuff I threw together on the latest situation.

Meanwhile, down our way the MHL buoy is showing a couple metres of SSE swell at 9 seconds apart. The SE’r is light now, but due to pick up, so those southern corners will be

Sydney Coastal Waters, Broken Bay to Port Hacking and 60nm seawards:
Sunday until midnight: Wind: S/SE 10/15 knots freshening to SE 15/20 knots in the morning. Sea: 1 to 1.5 metres. Swell: S/SE 2 to 3 metres decreasing.
Monday: Wind: E/SE 15/20 knots easing to 10/15 knots later. Sea: 1 to 1.5 metres.Swell: SE about 1.5 metres.
Tuesday: Wind: E/SE 10/15 knots.
