"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Looks like there might be a little one

Hello Friends,

A chilly start to the day with a fair amount of cloud about. Wind is starting to make its presence felt and, according to the Bureau, it’ll be up into the 20-30 range from the S-SW by late morning. Swell is back to south now.

The average period has faded to about 7 seconds, so even though the average size is around two metres, wave faces on the bomb sets are struggling to get into the shoulder high range at well exposed places such as Dee Why.

Tide will be high at about 1230, so the trend will be toward increasing fatness. In fact, since the next low tide this evening is not that low, we can expect it to have a fattish tinge pretty much all day.

BTW, did you see Rob’s waterspout pics in yesterday’s reports? Just use the yesterday link in the daily pic gallery to check ’em out.

Have yourself a top old day!

Low tide peak on offer at Dee Why this morning.
