Heaven

Nice view from the top of the hill5am surf check Lines to the horizon Manu Bay from above No work today The Valley Whale Bay Sometimes I wonder why I ever left NZ – especially after a morning like today! The wind died last night as the sun was going down making for some fun waves as the size built. This morning the gods were smiling with a brisk offshore and some double over head magic on the sets out at Indicators. Heaven. A few crew on it early but loads of waves to go around. We paddled out just after 5am and were a bit surprised by some of the early sets – yep I took a pounding on a few of them. Indicators is a serious wave and getting caught inside by a big set certainly gives you a pasting. I had several. Its a real life washing machine!   Looking good for the rest of day and into tom so if you have nothing to do jump a plane! For those not in the know there are the 3 well known point breaks in a row here – as you can see all very close together. There are also a few other little sections which have there moment in the sun as well. Outsides / Indicators is always the biggest and can be 2 to 3 ft bigger than the Point at Manu.  In the middle is Whale Bay – also known as Snail Bay which can have its moments but its got nothing on the other 2 I reckon. I will post some pics of the Point as the tide comes in later on as it should be all time. Have yrselves a great day!Whale Bay
