Yep it is one of those days. We were hoping too get a small push late yesterday but it never arrived and this morning the period has dropped right down as has the quality and the size. Sad but true. The next few days look bad as well. Meanwhile up the coast things are starting to happen with the period increasing sharply overnight and the size as well. A coastal run is your only hope of some decent waves this weekend. Ului has remained on its southward journey but the BOM are still predicting it will turn west and head for the coast making landfall around Mackay on Sunday. It is still a category 3 TC this morning. The good news down this way is that the weather is going to be amazing over the next few days. Have yrself a top day.
