PICS: Big day at the Kick

A massive one-day wonder swell hit Sydney on the 13th of August 2010 and almost nowhere was surfable. The Kick at Collaroy however came close and I got down there with the camera to watch a few keen types battle the powering offshore winds to catch some seriously big waves…

    These photos would be alright if it wasn't for the big (c) in the centre. No offence Don, but your work isn't that good.

    Gotta put the copyright mark on ‘em because they are available for sale. Always tricky balancing transparency with effectiveness when it comes to watermarks.

    Like every photographer, I always want to do a better job. Would love to have a tip or two from your good self if you have time – and maybe even a link to your own work (if you’re a photographer) so I can see how to improve my stuff.
