"Stay happy and you'll be perfectly fine" - Jack Norris

Unhappening sadly

Hello Friends,

What a dull old morning it was out there for Sydney’s surfers this Tuesday. Cloudy skies, the prospect of a drop or two of rain, steady surf destroying ESE wind and less than a metre of short period south swell. Did I hear somebody say ‘do something else’? Good advice that.

So, with that out of the way, a surfer’s thoughts turn to the forecast and more particularly Tuesday morning’s run of the wave forecast models.

Looks like the usual pull back is happening on the upper limit estimates of a few days ago. Fri arvo-Sat am is still looking like the peak, but instead of potentially getting into the triple overhead range, the predictions are pointing to maybe double overhead on the bombs. Awww….

Suits me Huey. Now, if you don’t mind just leaving things that way as we wade through a couple more days of surf tedium to reach the near weekend and its waves…

From the shape of the models, it would seem that the peak days will see pretty much the entire east coast lighting up.

So woohoo to that!

Have yourself a top old day and keep smilin’
