Fading Friday

Hello Friends,

It was dropping off through Thursday and this morning reveals that the trend hasn’t turned around for us. There are still a few little waist high sets to be had at Dee Why this morning, so I’d guess there might be a bit bigger stuff at spots more open to the south. The MHL buoys were off the air when I was working on this, so I can’t put firm numbers on the swell. At a guess, I’d say it’s south at around 1-1.5m with an average period of 8 or 9 seconds.

The wind should be light this morning and NE this afternoon, so I reckon the plan is to get on it sooner rather than later. And I’d be taking my soft little wave board too.

I got a few shots at the Long Reef bombies late yesterday afternoon, so if you were one of the many folks having a go at it, be sure to check back later when I’ll have a link to the galleries up.

Have yourself a good one!
