on wednesday afternoon, looks like only light, 1 – 2 footers at cox bay tofino, with some limited surfing action – the faintest swell at our west-facing beach outside town, some 175 km to the south east and 90 km up the straits – on monday evening, after our first rain in weeks, cox bay was looking stronger, bigger and blustery, with enough swell reaching our west-facing beach to reassure us about surfing at our rivermouth point, just 30 km hence – last thursday evening at our rivermouth point was just puny – please stay tuned ….. !! twitter mercuryloge \,,/
