The ocean stirs…

Hello Friends,

A small line was evident when I checked Dee Why right on low tide a little after 0700. According to the MHL buoy, it’s mainly out of the SE at about 8 seconds apart with an average height at sea of a metre.

Wind should be light this morning before swinging south later in the afternoon and picking up to 15-25 kts. So, I’d say SE spots as early as you can manage will be the go.

Swell should come up with the wind, but tomorrow looks like being short on surf options for Sydneysiders because of the southerly. It’s supposed to fade during the day, so maybe by late afternoon there’ll be a few fun size options (maybe chest to chest plus). Friday morning could be fun if the swell energy lasts overnight. With luck there’ll be something in the mornings through to Monday morning.

Have yourself a great Wednesday!
