Whale (top, centre) cruises by

Hello Friends,

When I looked at this morning’s pic, I noticed I’d caught a whale only a few hundred metres off the beach at Dee Why. Kinda cool. Nothing going on with the swell energy for this Tuesday. There’s about three-quarters of a metre of 11 second period SSE swell. If you were looking for a wave right on daybreak at a south magnet spot, there might possibly have been the occasional knee plus set.

Tomorrow looks like being flat, but there is some hope for Thursday when some of the modelling points toward a couple of metres of straight south swell in the afternoon. The problem is that the wind may be an issue. The Bureau is talking SW-SE 15-20 kts, a direction range which isn’t too helpful at spots that will do the most with the south swell.

A beautiful day coming up, so enjoy and go well with your endeavours!
