Flat in the morning, maybe something later

The view south

That's a flat
Hello Friends,

Just plain flat this morning thanks to a powering SW wind and no swell to speak of. The forecast tells us that the south swell should start to push in later this morning, but so far I don’t see anything much down south of us yet. Tide’s high at about 1435, so if the swell does come in as predicted, it’ll get some extra help from that.

With luck we might get a little something at south spots before it gets dark. And, maybe, it’ll last through until tomorrow morning. After that though… if the models are right, we’re into spring blah territory for a week at least.

Busy day coming up for me, so go well with your plans and keep on smilin’!

Weather Situation
A cold front lies through central parts of the coast bringing strong and gusty winds, reaching gale-force in the south. The front is expected to move away to the east during the day. In the wake of the front, a high pressure system will drift across the state, resulting in winds easing into Friday. Winds will strengthen once more as another cold front approaches from the west with strong northerly winds extending up the entire coast late Friday into Saturday.
