Hello Friends,

Only a tiny, short-period NNE windswell lapping into Dee Why this morning. High tide was an hour away as I worked on the report and a light northerly breeze was spinning the anemometer atop the RealSurf wheelhouse. The Bureau tells us it’s going to get up into the 15-25 kt range later. So, not a good prospect for any real improvement to surfin’ conditions.

The swell models are not encouraging for the week to come. There seems to be some prospect for a brief peak of short period south swell on Friday, but they’re also saying the wind’ll be SE. Although it’s in the realm of speculation, those same models are generally guessing that the front end of next week could be a bit more interesting.

As for today, it looks like an excellent opportunity to get on with various dimensions of your non-surfing life. So keep on smilin’ and have a top old day.
