Surfable bumps here and there

Hello Friends,

Swell’s going more ENE now. As of 0600 it was about 1.6 metres at nearly 11 seconds. Dee Why’s showing shoulder plus faces on the biggest ones along the south end of the beach and maybe chest plus at the point. Conditions were pretty lumpy and the beach was way more consistent than the point at 0845. However, it looked like shutdown city.

As of 0900 wind was light and from the north. It’ll lock into the NE before long and ramp up into the 15-25 kt range later.

Tide was high at 0545 and will bounce off the low at 1230.

Still looks like an extended period of NE wind coming up. Some models are showing it being an issue through the end of the week. The good thing is that they’re also saying it should be possible to score the odd wind-affected sesh too. Mid week looks least interesting, with short period stuff mostly and unrelenting wind. But even then, if you’re keen…

Have a great Sunday!
